Puerto Viejo is well known for being the home to what has been called ‘the heaviest wave in Costa Rica’. 
It is a perfect Caribbean setting to learn to surf with your friends! Some of the locals have been surfing the waves since they were kids, who more perfect to teach you a thing or two about riding a wave.
You will learn about form and style and will have 60-90 minutes in the water to practice ‘popping up’, ‘turning’ and general wave riding.
Surf School Information
Price $45 per person surf lesson. $60 for a private lesson or surf guide. $10 for half day, $20 for full day.
Price Includes: Surfboard and a dedicated instructor
Please bring: Water, snacks, swim suit.
Minimum Age: Under 11 require a parent to be present
