Stand up paddle

Try the newest and easiest paddle sport… ever!
Stand up paddle has its roots in ancient Polynesia and looks exactly as it sounds: you stand up on a large, wide, super buoyant surfboard & use a long paddle.
Feel like you’re walking in water!
You can stand up paddle anywhere in Costa Rica, from the picturesque Lake Arenal to the gorgeous Pacific coasts of Playa Samara & Playa Carrillo!
Get your exclusive, introductory stand up lesson from the only stand up paddle outfitter in the Northern Zone.
You will be picked up from your hotel and head to Lake Arenal. The pristine, undeveloped Lake Arenal is the 2nd-largest body of fresh water in Central America and the ideal location to take a stand up paddle lesson.

You will receive a thorough safety talk and stand up lesson and continue to practice under the careful watch of your stand up paddle instructor. You will take a tour of the West-end of Lake Arenal while you paddle along with excellent views of the behemoth Arenal Volcano in the background for the best picture-taking opportunities.

Learn about the interesting flora and fauna of the area and enjoy a tropical fruit snack & drinks. You will then be taken back to your hotel.
